Marketing In Color Direct Mail Programs … Not Your Ordinary Black & White Approach

The black and white, usual approach …

  1. I want to generate leads for my business
  2. You order a direct mail list from infoUSA™ or Sales Genie™ or some other list house.
  3. You find a printer to print your direct mail pieces.
  4. You create the direct mail piece and write the copy.
  5. You coordinate with the print company and send them the art work and direct mail list.
  6. The printer prints and mails the direct mail piece out.
  7. You wait and you wait for responses to come in.

The usual results …

After waiting for two weeks, you come to the conclusion that you are only getting 7 responses off of the mailing to 5,000 prospects.  I just spent $400 for the list and $3,500 to get 7 responses? What the &$@*&)$#@%! is going on here?

The reality …

This reminds us of a famous quote by Albert Einstein … “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Marketing In Color's unusual approach …

Marketing In Color takes the usual approaches and beats them up and improves or reinvents them so that you don’t have to. Our direct mail process starts with a brighter, smarter approach.

  1. We ask you what you know, what you expect, and what you are willing to put into the project to achieve your expectations.  What are your objectives?
  2. We ask for you customer list, so that we can model or clone your customers, or better yet, your best customers to develop a smart, truly targeted prospect list within your trading area. We experience significantly higher response rates with modeled prospect lists.
  3. We assess your brand positioning and messaging to your target market.  We get to know your customers and how you communicate with them.  It may mean that the positioning may be wrong or your messaging is off, but we will give you a factual understanding of that and make recommendations to build a strong brand.
  4. We have print partners that will quickly and cost effectively execute the direct mail program on schedule and on budget.
  5. You give the go ahead, and the program is executed with precision and you get what we are expecting, and that is results!

"Film Clips" Blog Aims To Shed Light Through SUN-GARD Window Film and Its Dealer Network

Madico Window Film (formerly Solamatrix) has launched an online blog called "Film Clips," produced and curated by Marketing In Color (Tampa, Florida). The goals of the blog are two-fold. One is to feature interesting stories about window film and the positive impact it can have in automotive and architectural applications. The other is to feature Madico's many field installers who sell and install Madico's SUN-GARD brand. The blog is an adjunct to the previously released, SUN-GARD website, that was also produced by Marketing In Color.

"Blogging is a critical part of search engine optimization," say Herb Young, Marketing In Color Vice President of Business Development. "Active websites make Google happy when determining page rank, and the easiest way to keep websites active is through the practice of blogging. Blogs also provide an excellent platform from which to push content through your Facebook Brand Page and Twitter."
